I’m sorry I hung up on you

To whoever just called me, I’m sorry I hung up on you – or rejected your call. I hope the message you received was polite. You see, I have had my new phone for 5 days now, and that was the second incoming call – the first came as I tried to pull it out of the box. The thing is, I had no idea how to actually answer the phone!  There is a nice red button and a green button, so one would think that answering the phone would involve clicking a button (I’d include a screenshot but the process is a little overwhelming at the moment – I’ll figure it out eventually). The point is, I had no idea how to answer the phone. A friend mention to me the need to slide to answer the phone – and so I called myself several times and gave it a try. It took me a few attempts, as it appears I need to actually drag the green button all the way across the screen to answer the phone. I compared this with the iPhone, which says “Slide to Answer”. The technique to answer is the same, but the directions on the Android are a little lacking – I guess they expect that all Android users are familiar with the iPhone!

Help support the podcasts financially. I’m not asking for big donations. I’m looking for $3 per month via the Patreon app. This app allows you to support me as an Artist. Your support is amplified as it gives me a greater opportunity to access grants. Your $3 per month makes a difference!
