mLearn2011 day one

This conference is much smaller than I expected and yet many of the founders and leaders of the mobile learning academic community are here. I’ve met many people, most of whom are PhD students.

Today I gave my first conference paper presentation. It was a small room and yet I was a total wreck. I fumbled through my presentation and was happy when I got to the point where I could hand off the presenting to Michael, who seemed completely calm in his presentation. We did seem to have interest in our presentation as several people asked questions.

I’ve also got a poster presentation, which has now been posted. I’m sitting on the couch behind the poster watching people look at the posters. The official poster time is tomorrow so we’ll see if they get more interest. You can see my poster at http://rjh.goingeast.ca/about/dbrml.

Be a Patron of My Art

Help support the podcasts financially. I’m not asking for big donations. I’m looking for $3 per month via the Patreon app. This app allows you to support me as an Artist. Your support is amplified as it gives me a greater opportunity to access grants. Your $3 per month makes a difference!

An illustration featuring a feather quill in an ink bottle, a heart above the quill, and a vintage-style microphone beside it. To the right, large text reads ‘Be a Patron of My Art.’ The design uses soft colors and has a creative, artistic theme
