Facebook Page

This website now has an associated Facebook page. That means that my friends will no longer automatically get notification of blog updates unless they chose to Like the Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/rjh.goingeast.ca

It also means that those who want to follow my blog on Facebook but are not currently my Facebook friends can also Like the Facebook page – which will in-turn notify them when I update this blog.

So please, if you use Facebook and want notification of updates to this blog, please Like my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/rjh.goingeast.ca

    It doesn’t remove email notifications. It means that when I post, it posts to the page and not my Facebook wall – it is the same model as my BC Becky blog. Previously, when I posted to this blog it went to all my Facebook friends. I’ve now change it so that only friends who opt-in by liking the page will see the updates.

    Why? Why does having fb page remove email notifications? What if someone is not on Facebook at all?
